Yesterday, Joel asked me so very nicely to PLEASE make him a pirate wink ... and a pirate hat! And so I did! Seriously cute pirate I think!
Lately I've been feeling a bit arghhh ... grouchy and sleepy and slightly nauseated. Thank God for whoever invented Diclectin ... it keeps the nausea to a dull roar (and if I eat it usually goes away! So weird that eating makes it go away). Looking forward to the extreme sleepiness and raw feelings to go away!
Thinking about this reminds me of this promise from Jesus ... holding onto this one today:
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good--not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne. Matthew 11:28-30

I LOVE the "my yoke is easy, my burden is light" part of that verse. Gets me every time. :)
