Happy Birthday!

We celebrated their birthday's this weekend! Love you two soooo much!


This little boy LOVED his birthday cake! I've never seen a one year old so excited about cake in my life!




It's amazing to me that only one year ago Noah was born - life is so amazing and watching little one's grow is such a wonderful privalege!



I got lots of Christmas shopping done this weekend too! Still a whole list to do tomorrow so I'm hoping that Joel cooperates and hangs in there with me while I shop and drive all over town (at least I have a list and know where I'm going!)

Having a great day! Our house is neat and tidy, I have an idea for supper (spagetti tonight), and I got some scrapping in. If only the washing machine wasn't broken. Oh well!

Happy Friday!

Well, not much is going on here this week (at least in the creativity department). Lots of snoozing (caught under those heavy eyelids) and a lot of playing with my big boy! So this week he started eating on his own and I have to say it's made a huge difference in the amount of food he consumes - who knew that giving him a spoon would bring him such happyness and an appetite? He has a conspiracy with my dog going ... he'll ask for a cookie, take one bite, grin mischeiviously and throw it to the "doggie". They both love it -- I'm not so impressed - she's getting a bit plump. Joel and I went to Tim Hortons today for a snack - I had a sandwich and he ate a blueberry muffin - I laughed when he threw some on the floor and said "doggie" - he thinks there's a doggie everywhere. (Maybe I shouldn't encourage him I guess!). We went and watched my dh curl yesterday which was fun. Hmmm not much else to report. Going to a birthday party tomorrow for one of Joel's friends (okay, my friend's kid but they have fun playing together) and then Sunday we get to see Eric Clapton in concert! Yippee! My weekend ...

A big weekend, but a goodie!

Scrapbooking ... I got three pages done (see in previous posts) and also some cards!
Partying ... an anniversary party and a baptism party! How fun is that?
Travelling ... went to Edmonton on Sunday for church and a party, great time there ... got to hold my nephew and see some friends we don't see often enough. And happy happy happy ... my husband came with us (my sister has started calling him MR. Snufalupogous these days becuase he's been so busy and can't come to many events ... does he really exist? Yes he does!)

A great weekend!

What a nice weekend! Two celebrations, two cities, two days! Saturday we celebrated Matt's Auntie Jane's 60th birthday with a surprise! It was great (except that I forgot to charge my camera batteries -- can you believe it? How did that happen?). Coming home we sat in the parking lot called highway 2 for 2 hours while the police worked on a very bad traffic accident, but other than that there were no driving difficulties -- we spent the time visiting with Matt's sister Allison and her boyfriend so all was well! The baby shower was really fun too -- got to see some people that I haven't seen in ages and got some good cuddle time in too! I'm posting a portion of a mini book I made for my Dad this week and a sweet picture of Joel kissing Noah ... tfl!

Feeling creative today!

Today is a creative day! No housework, (okay maybe a few laundry loads) -- but just time to create! I got my CK magazine for February yesterday, so I'll take some time to browse and I went to the lss and bought some fun stuff with some Christmas money (had to wait in line for 30 minutes to pay for it ... so proud of Joel for being such a good boy while we waited!)
