A few things ...

So last night was my scheduled creative night but I took a break and watched a movie (Sweet Home Alabama - love this movie) and the Supernanny on tv and well, it was a really nice break! I just didn't feel creative last night and wanted to just sit! Go me!

Got some cute pictures of my Joel yesterday ... thought I'd share some with you! Joel is growing up so fast ... I gave him a haircut yesterday morning because I couldn't stand it any longer and I didn't know when we could go see Jessica next - we've missed our dates with her twice now (sniff). I think I did a pretty good job for having no hairdressing skills! He's got some new sounds (hee hee) What does a doggie say - "woof woof" what does a train say "woo woo" and of course the standart brmmm brmm for trucks and trains and anything with wheels! He can drink out of a cup (but I don't often let him because it can get rather messy) and when I feed him he needs his own spoon too (he doesn't usually get anything into his mouth but he's learning how to use it and that's all that matters!)

Today I was at my lss - first of all I noticed on of Jessi's creations sitting on the shelf! Gorgeous little mini book Jessi! AND, the woman ahead of me at the till - spent over 700 dollars on stuff - it didn't sound like she was a scrapbooker either (just that she was buying stuff for her kid). Gulp. So here's my question for you: have you ever spent 700 dollars in one visit to a scrapbooking store (my answer: nope - but I'm sure I've spent more than that since I started cumulatively), and if you could spend 700 dollars - what would it be on? (that's easy Photoshop - the expensive one, and a large format printer -- oh that's more like $1300).

One last thing ... this song by Tommy Walker has been really speaking to my heart lately, I wanted to share it with you:
He knows my name
He knows my every thought
He sees each tear that falls
And hears me when I call
He hears me when I call

I have a Maker
He formed my heart
Before even time began
My life was in His hand

I have a Father
He calls me His own
He'll never leave me
No matter where I go.

have a great day! Love!

That song makes me cry every single time!! I love it!

You've posted a lot in the last few days, had to cath up. Love the creative manifesto, and cookie page. Joel is so stinkin' cute!

Good job on the haircut, I've vowed to never cut Felix's hair. At least not until the top is even with the bottom. It's looking a little like a mullet right now, but I refuse to chop the curls!

Hope you have a Happy V-day, Chrissy

$700? In one outing? WOW! No I've not done that in one go (at least not that I can remember). I do go over $100 on occassion -- but, then feel REALLY guilty (like today -- oops).

Oh, and the words to that song are very cool.

$700.. I'd like to think I'd be all sensible.. but I probably wouldn't LOL!!!There are a few new ranges of papers, I'd probably buy several of each page in the ranges.. and a BULK of cardstock!!! and I'd splurge on some new inkpads and Ink!..Now it's time to be thankful for what I do have!.... LOL!!!
