Rollercoaster ...

Well, we're home. Grandpa's funeral was a roller coaster of emotions ... sad, upset, tired ... Thanks to everyone for your support and love! My part of the Eulogy went well - think I'll make a layout with it on there some time. I think the most touching moment was placing roses on Grandpa's casket at the grave site and then also placing some at Grandma's marker.

Made a layout tonight from Toya's inpiration wednesday. I find scrapbooking sooo theraputic for me. Thanks for looking!

Hey Kimberly. I am glad to hear your part in the service went well. I know that must have been hard, but I am sure your family appreciated it immensly. Your take on Toya's IW is beautiful. Keeping you and your family in my prayers today...

Awesome LO. I am way too lazy to do a sketch first, but it seems like a great idea. So cool to see it go from a sketch to a LO.

Glad to hear you made it through the funeral ok. I'm sure you have lots of memories swirling around in your head right now. My grandpa died when I was 10, and I have lots of memories left that I need to write down.

Still thinking of you, Chrissy

Kim,
I haven't looked at your blog in a while...I just wanted to tell you that the song "He Knows My Name" is one of my favortites to sing:-)
Also the tags you did for one of your challenges look awesome and are the same idea I was thinking for my wedding table cards.
Just a thought
Love you

sorry to hear about your grandpa. i went through this last year with mine. i had to deliver the eulogy on behalf of all the grandkids because i was the oldest. i had a difficult time bringing myself to do it. i was pretty close to him. i am sure you grandpa was very proud of you. it is a very honourable thing to do.

love your layouts by the way!
