What a week!

Just got home from work ... four hours to go see my friends and help the people in Emergency. It was a nice shift and I felt good! This week has been a whole lot of nausea, lying down on the couch and sleeping. I've also watched a whole lot of curling on TV - this week was the men's curling championship for Canada (I really enjoy watching - my husband is a curler so I learn lots about his sport and I enjoy the fact that it's a strategy game.) Check it out here: http://www.curling.ca/fan_central/brier/2007/index.asp Joel is such a sweetie -- unfortunately this week he's started really liking tv (which is good and bad depending on how nauseated I am, it keeps him occupied) Thank God for diclectin and the researchers who found it! I have had a much better week 7 then week 6.

Yeah, TV can be a pretty good baby-sitter.

Glad to hear you're feeling a little better. I never had morning sickness, but I did have the flur for a week at the beginning of Felix, and that was HORRIBLE. My medication of choice, was Fenergin{sp?}. Works wonders. It may be the same as what you're taking, just a different name? I dunno, you're the nurse. :)

Anyways, Kal{the person we thought was gonna CJ with us} has a friend that curls. That is NOT a well known sport here in the states, but her friend competes in championships and stuff. She lives in Winnipeg. How far is that from you? I think connections are cool, and everybody seems to be connected in one way or another.

Hope you have a happy, un-nauseous day! Chrissy

Great to hear that you are feeling some better!! Hope it continues!!
The only time I've seen curling is on the Olympics. We don't have it in the US much (unless up North in colder areas), but I've always enjoyed watching it. Kinda bizarre sport--but fun nonetheless! LOL
