Home.

My Grandpa died yesterday. He lived a long full life. I'm so happy for him to be done suffering. Heaven is a much better place for him to be ... meeting Jesus face to face, checking out his new mansion, seeing Grandma again. Now is the time to remember ... what a loving faithful man he was, his heritage of faith, and all the little things that we loved about him. (and the scrapbooker in me wants all those memories written down so they won't be lost and so that he will be remembered always.)

aww, that's awesome that he's back with your Grandma again.

Make sure to jot down all the really important stuff to remember while it's still fresh.

ditto on the being at peace with it.

What a wonderful tribute to your Grandpa. Knowing he was ready to go home to God can so help ease some of the pain of loss
