God is Good ...

This afternoon I took the boys to get a haircut. It was Joshua's first real hair cut and I think they look so cute! This week's challenge at SALT was to create a layout that celebrates the Goodness of God. This is mine:

There have been a couple of pages turned in the story of my life this week. First of all, I'm no longer a SAHM. We have decided that I should go back to work at the hospital, and although I meant to start in January, I did some training this week and will do some more next week as well. It was nice to go back and see some familiar faces, and meet some new people. It was also nice to use my brain in a different way then I'm used to! I think I will enjoy working, (as long as I don't think about how much I want to be home with the boys.) The other change is that we have decided to close down Unpubbed. We had such a great time for the last two years introducing the world to talented scrapbookers who have never been published. I will miss it.

hey kim
sorry I haven't been to your blog...i'm such a lazy commenter!
Your boys are so cute. I know it's a tough desicion to go back to work, but it can be rewarding too. And you're so good at what you do. :)
I'm desperately going to miss Unpubbed. But i'm so glad we did it for as long as we did.
Hope you have a great weekend

LOVE the boys hair and LOVE that little J still looks little. Sometimes that first haircut grows them up way too quickly, but the stylist did a good job making him stay a baby for a bit longer.

Beautiful LO and love the sentiment there. Def going to join in on the SALT challenge this week!

Congrats on going back to work. I know it's got to be hard leaving the boys, but it'll be good for them to have some time w/just Daddy. It'll be good for you, too, to get some time away. I always feel like a better mom when I've had a chance to miss 'em!

And, yeah, it was wierd going thru my mental calendar this morning and not having anything to do UnPubbed related.

Happy weekend to you and yours!

I'm going to miss Unpubbed too...it's like saying goodbye to all your high school friends.
We'll keep our chats up until we're old and gray :)

Or, until we are close enough to each other to do it over a Starbucks at Target!
