We had a wonderful day on Saturday! Matt bought me cross country skis for Christmas and Saturday morning was our first morning to try them out! Grandma W. came and had a date with the boys (thanks Grandma) and we went and skied down by the river. I have not gone cross country skiing since I was a kid, and I was pleasantly surprised that I still remembered how to do it! I love my skis and I really love going on a date with my husband (and Bailey our dog too!)
That afternoon we met up with our friends for to go sledding (or toboganning). There is a hill right by their house. We had a blast! I even tried going down the hill with Joel ... a great day of doing things from my childhood, and still loving them as an adult.
I worked today and yesterday. I really miss being home with the boys. I can do this working thing ...

what a great way to spend a day!! i have never xctry skiied...always wanted to give it a go tho...maybe one year :D!!
