First day of school
Today was Joel's first day of playschool. I think it was harder for me than for him. Once we were settled into the playroom (indoor shoes on, backpack put away) I told him I'd stay as long as he needed, and immediately he said, you can go Mommy. On the way home I asked him if he had fun, he said "no". Did you like it? "no" Do you want to go back? "YES! Can we go right now?" That's about all I've gotten out of him so far ... he did tell me there's a jungle gym with cars, and water to play with in a bin. Hopefully he'll tell me a little more later ...
Josh and I stopped at the grocery store for a couple things (I'm not really supposed to be grocery shopping but we really really needed a few things!) We saw Stacy at the Grocery store -- it was nice to see you my friend! It was really nice to have a couple of hours of me and Josh time ... we don't do that much. Looking forward to watching Monday night football and relaxing tonight!
Peace to you.

he looks SO excited!! man, when they're ready, they're ready whether you are or not! LOL! Believe me, it's so much easier when they tell you to go instead of crying!

that is awesome that he did so good for his first day!! he looks so proud in both of those first two photos!
I cried after the boys took off full time this year.... grade one and two. Now they tell me, "Don't be lonely while we are gone Mom." Oh boy... the tables have turned and now they are worried about me - LOL. I am getting used to it though.
Looking forward to catching up soon :)
