The lion and the list

This roaring lion got to go to playschool today. He told me he had fun and that there were lots of princesses at school today. Then the lion said: "I can't tell you anymore because I'm too busy roaring."

Today I've been thinking about all the things I have on my list to do in the next 10 weeks: (some are must do, some are want to do)

1. Finish Joel's quilt. I'm in the quilting stage. This has taken me forever because I was having a lot of trouble with the tension on my machine when I was trying to freemotion quilt - so I spent several hours picking out all the stitches and now I'm just putting horizontal lines on it (they are far from straight - hoping I'll like the wonky look).

2. Make a quilt for the new baby (I'd really like to make a pink and a blue ... we'll see if I even get to this).
3. December Daily. (This will be a project I've done three years in a row. A project inspired by Ali Edwards. I'm close to having the bones of the album finished ... then I will just have to journal and take pictures every day in December - a fun little commitment with a wonderful keepsake at the end).
4. Get ready for Christmas:
a) buy and or make some gifts
b) baking (I'd like to have some cookies in the freezer)
c) decorate the house (not until December).
d) make and send out our Christmas cards
5. Get ready for baby
a) move Josh into Joel's room
b) pull out the new baby clothes and wash them
c) wash the bassinette and set it up in our room
5. Finish my 2007 blog book.

That's about all I can think of right now ... I'm sure I'll think of MANY more to do ... most important thing to do for sure is to keep incubating this baby (which is kicking me right now!)
