This morning we got up early to go to the Emergency Services Memorial at City Hall. Matt is a firefighter and marches in our honor gaurd. It's a good way to remember and reflect on what happened on 9/11 six years ago, and to remember those who have fallen in the line of duty in the past year. I was surprised at how many police, and figherfighters have died this year. Thanking God for his protection for those in our city and around the world that risk their lives everyday to "protect life and property" as Matt often remarks. Here's some pics of our morning ...

Their uniforms look so...official. And what an awesome thing that people are still having ceremonies and such to remember.
:)

Have a beautiful day...and yup, glad he marches in our honor. We are very lucky to have people who serve to protect us.
So thankful for men like Matt...
